My post count is heavily padded by many random +1′s, while MSPD’s post count is full of quality observations and comments.

Chad,
Actually I forgot to note that you get a $10 Blue Ox Gift Certificate courtesy of Blue Ox in Burnsville! Send me an e-mail with your preferred method of receiving it and I’ll get it out to you.
I have two more prizes to give out and that will get started on Friday so be sure to check back then!

Hi – Not too long ago, I read your review of Guthrie theater and noticed that you saw Dark Star Orchestra there (and I saw them there as well). Anyway, they are playing Varsity Theater (Dinky Town) Feb 3, just an FYI. Never been there, so I don’t know what to expect.

Never been there either and my baby is due 2/4 so there will be no DSO for me :(

Sundar, the Varsity is a nice venue; I’ve seen a couple of shows there. It’s not too big and it has platforms on the sides with couches, tables and chairs that are good for just chilling out. There aren’t permanent seats on the main floor, so they may put out folding chairs unless it’s standing room only. The acoustics are very good too.

Congrats Chad.
MSPD, take a knee and breath deeply, I am sure knowing that these stats are being tracked and recognized you will be a force to deal with in 2010.
Mrs. Marcos, better luck next year.

@Bill R – Sorry to hear you can’t make it to DSO this year.
@ Tim – Thanks for the info. I purchased my tix yesterday from Loring Pasta Bar, and noticed there are no seating reservations, only general admission. Should be cool based on your description.

If you’re referring to Molly Cool’s, I paid the price for that (just not in money).
