Great, the dog is fine, but what about the opossum?
Animal assist. A dog fell into a basement egress window well in the 8000 block of Stone Creek Drive. There was an opossum in the window culvert, too. The dog was freed.
Doesn’t anyone think of the janitors?
Disturbance. Two students who were graduating early from Chaska High School wanted to go out with a “bang,” police said, so they purchased 500 crickets and dropped the crickets from a second-floor balcony onto students on the first floor between classes at the school. The boys later told officers they dropped the crickets because they thought it was “funny.” Janitors cleaned up the crickets and released most of them behind the school. The boys were cited for creating a public nuisance.
