According to this Dakota County Criminal Complaint a man grabbed a woman’s butt and when confronted pulled a gun on the woman’s knight in shining armor.
From the complaint:
On November 24, 2012, the Burnsville Police Department was called to a bar in the City of Burnsville, Dakota County, Minnesota, on a report of a gun pointing incident. When officers arrived they spoke with the caller, K.H., who stated the he saw a man pull a gun on another man in the parking lot. K.H. stated that at one point the man with the gun pushed the gun into the other man’s face. K.H. stated that the victim went back into the bar and the man with the gun drove out of the parking lot. K.H. described the vehicle the man left in as a white SUV with union decals on the back.
Officers went into the bar and located the victim, R.N. R.N. told the officers that he was in the bar with a female friend when an older man repeatedly grabbed the female’s buttocks. R.N. told the man to stop grabbing his friend, and the man asked him if he wanted to “step outside.” R.N. said that once they went outside the man went over to a white SUV and then came back with a handgun. R.N. stated that the man pushed the handgun into his chest, and then pushed it into his chin. When R.N. told the man he was going to call the police the man got into his car and left.
Have you ever been confronted by someone who asked you to step outside? If someone asked you, would you step outside? What would you do if someone pulled a gun on you? Would you threaten to call the police or would you simply wet your pants? What bar do you think this was at? Are there bars in the South Metro you avoid because you believe there is a greater potential for this sort of thing to occur? Whatever you have to say about this one go ahead and comment on as I’d love to hear what you have to say.

Have never been asked to step outside. Wouldn’t do it for this very reason. Someone grabbing my wifes buttocks repeatedly, we’d deal with it in the resturant where there are witnesses. Lame

If my name was Hamzeh Daghighiam, I’d be pissed off at the world too.

Another reason to avoid the dangerous outer suburbs.

Seems like something that would happen at one of those bad-ass biker bars… or a WalMart.

Since this report is absent a picture of the woman that got goosed nor a description of how nice of a butt she has, I find it impossible to pass judgement on this story.

lefty, just imagine it looking almost as supple and cute as MSPD’s.

If someone asked me if I wanted to step outside, the last thing I would do is step outside. Because then I’d be alone with a douchebag.

Shut down Lazy Lightning. We’ve clearly reached the bottom of the comment barrel.

Seriously? Do you not remember the WI smoking ban thread?

Does anyone know where this happened at?

I am proud to admit that even though I have been in the company of MSPD personally two different times, I have no idea what his bum looks like. Bill is a bum looker.
On a story related note, I had a road rage guy yesterday try to get me to pull over to fight me because apparently going 80 in the sane lane wasn’t fast enough for him. Once he got past me, he tried pretty hard to get back behind me, I think because he wanted to follow me and confront me physically. I felt compelled to cut over to an exit he couldn’t get to to avoid any such situation cause you know, I am a lover, not a fighter.
Anyway, I was forced to wonder what I would have done should he have been able to start following me. I decided my best option would have been to dial 911 and drive straight to the nearest law enforcement facility in order to prevent something negative like me getting charged with manslaughter (or him, I suppose).
To Reuben’s point. When invited to a fight, walk away. Nothing good could ever come of that, and if you actually do get laid because you “defended the honor of a woman”, chances are the woman is probably pretty fucking ugly.

lefty,
I have read several criminal complaints where a citizen called 911 and provided the operator with the individual’s license plate and they received a call from law enforcement about their behavior.

I’d grab that guy’s ass and shove the gun in hard. :)

Someone tried to run us off the road and threw a beer bottle at us (it broke on our side window) once. We got away and got off the freeway when we could and called 911 (this was in the days before cell phones). We found out later that a witness had also called 911.
We filed a report and were informed that the sheriff would be the named complainant (is that a word?) in the case and that our identity would not be revealed on said complaint. It was out of our hands, the guy already had a record, they would be prosecuting him and we had no say or involvement. Sounds pretty good, huh?
Fast forward a couple of weeks, and we get a phone call at home from the guy who had tried to kill us. He knew who we were and where we lived. Sigh. He begged us to withdraw our complaint and offered to do work for us and said that he couldn’t afford to have anything more on his record. He said he was mad that day because of some sort of trouble with divorce/child custody or some such. BTW, when he tried to drive us off of the road he had children in the car with him.
Wary, we told him we would do our best (we didn’t mean it, of course) and said we would call him back. We reported it to the sheriff, then called him back and said gosh, we really tried, but we were told it was out of our hands, and we wished him good luck.
Never heard from him again, thank goodness. Never figured out why he targeted us either….wrong place, wrong time, evidently…..
Moral of all of these stories…there are some angry people out there who are having problems dealing with daily life and who probably aren’t very smart.

I’m in the lover not a fighter camp.

Heck, there are also some angry people out there that are having problems dealing with daily life and are very smart. Smart people have their issues with stress just like everyone else.
Would I step outside if asked? I assume I’ve not been drinking so my guess is no. If I was for some reason drinking, who knows. People don’t make the best decisions when they are under the influence of alcohol.

Would I pull over when someone is obviously experiencing road rage? Absolutely not! I would call 911 and get to somewhere with lots of witnesses. Preferably a police department, but at least somewhere with lots of people around. Depending on where you are, you might not know where the police department is located. And then, if they are out on the streets, maybe there isn’t really anyone there. (I worked for a PD for a couple of years, if you came there, we called 911)
I would never go outside if someone asked me to. Never. Only asking for trouble. Being a female, that doesn’t happen a lot, but, still, male or female, that is only asking for trouble.
On another note, I am very happy to hear that Lefty is a lover and not a fighter. And that he has never checked out MSPD’s bum!

If someone grabbed my ass in the bar, my boyfriend probably wouldn’t have time to ask him to step outside, as I would get the guy thrown out myself. I have zero time for that crap. As for the whole idea of fighting in a bar parking lot, no way.
