I will wait for him and make another swim out there. I think that the cold was worsened because the rocks were *so* hot and the water was so cold. My poor feet went into shock. The rest of me was really ok but that was probably because I have quite a bit of insulation ;) I would not have done that if I hadn't been swimming for several months. It is hard to understand just how cold it feels, until you've done it. Even at the end of summer, the water is only a few degrees warmer. You're a brave man. :) Swimming in Lake Superior is COLD!
