For my birthday, I wanted to go caching — no fucking way, right?! Well, Aaron hadn’t been caching in quite some time and he does really need to get to 1000 someday — so, I figured I’d help both of us out and go hit a couple of caches. Earlier in the week, Chuck had asked if I was caching this weekend, duh, and wanted to tag along because he “needs to clear some of the South-Metro out.”
After breakfast at Jensen’s Cafe in Burnsville, we wandered around to some caches in Burnsville, Apple Valley, and Eagan. Even though a cache a ton, I’m usually out of my home area and thus I was sick and tired of looking at all these caches that were so close to my house including one that was less than 8/10ths of a mile away!
We weren’t doing so well and DNF’d two mucluck caches due to snow? With the temperature falling rapidly and the wind picking up, I gave Kim a call at home and told her to meet us for lunch at Carbone’s Pizza in Lakeville. She agreed and we wrapped up our caching and headed up there for some food and beer.
