Last week’s Age Poll is now closed and thanks to Mrs. Marcos we have a new Halloween themed poll up. A quick little survey on what you will be doing on the big day at the end of this month.
This year, strangely enough, we were invited to several parties after going through many years without anyone wanting to see my scary mug be even scarier. Two are within walking distance of our home and one we cannot attend due to a prior arrangement. While we went out looking for costumes in Apple Valley on Saturday night, we came to the conclusion that we’ll probably have to do it the hard way.
So, what are you doing this Halloween? Vote on!
Halloween
- Partying (36.0%, 10 Votes)
- Lights Off (25.0%, 7 Votes)
- Lights On (21.0%, 6 Votes)
- Trick or Treating (18.0%, 5 Votes)
Total Voters: 28
As always, check out our expired polls in the archive or read through the previous posts about polls here.

Not just partying. Crazy partying. Stay the night partying. It’s just how I roll.

Can we get the info on the “lights off” folks…they should get something special on their doorsteps in celebration of Halloween ;)

Mrs. M, I’m sure you could ask Justice A Clothing Store for Girls or the MN AFL-CIO, they will probably be willing to sell out the information.

I hear you about the Halloween shops being like adult xxx stores. We got a Halloween flier in the mail and our boys were way into looking at the kids costumes. I had to throw it out because of all of the “adult” costumes. When did Halloween become scanky men and women’s chance to dress how they would never think to any other day of the year? I don’t even want to think about taking them into one of those stores this year. When I was little I had the choice of a hobo or The Incredible Hulk with a green sweatshirt and green face paint. Good old days.

Andy,
Even though I have absolutely no problem with adults doing what they will on any day of the year, I do have a problem with a store that sells “Wet T-shirt Contest Winner” outfits along side “Let’s Play Doctor” with business cards that say, “Dr. Luvyurrectum” without any clear indication on the door that children might want to stay in the car.

I hate halloween. I think it’s pretty stupid. We will be out of town, thank goodness.

I have nothing against Halloween, but I don’t get that into it either. Since I don’t have any plans to go to parties and there’s pretty much no children in my immediate neighborhood, I will probably just stay home and watch horror movies or something.

To be honest, I’m not a huge Halloween person either. In fact, even though I was a big partier in college, there were two separate Halloweens that I didn’t even bother to go out just because that whole thing didn’t interest me. Crazy, I know.

I’ll probably just go as a pothead ;) or maybe an alcoholic. Either way I already have my costume…

Kim’s outfit is picked and ready and she picked up some stuff for me last night. We have some work to do on my attire and she has to make me an accessory but after that I should be all set.
How many of you are getting dressed up and what are you going to be?
