Last night, after spending the entire day shopping for food and clothes, we froze all the meat and I started on dinner. Kimmy opted for some Halloween spirit and began work on our pumpkin. She drew a couple of test faces on a paper bag and cut open the top. I scooped the seeds out, rinsed then, and added white and sugar and cinnamon.
Buddy was running around excited for no reason, I was sore from all the caching on Saturday and all the shopping Sunday, and Kimmy was gungho on the pumpkin.
I think it turned out pretty well. Hopefully the three trick-or-treaters we will see tonight will enjoy it too.
