Just like the $10 ticket scam at the Mall of America which offers you a chance to win a Ferrari that’s currently parked in middle of the mall, the Mendota Heights Police Calls from the Pioneer Press reports:
Fraud/swindle: A woman who lives in the 600 block of Callahan Place called police about 11 a.m. Dec. 4 to report fraud. She said she was notified that she won a Mercedes Benz car and $50,000 in cash. All she had to do was send about $500 in a money gram to get the prizes. She sent the money. She discovered after sending the money that it was a scam.
When will people ever fucking learn?

So you’re saying she DIDN’T win? So I still have a chance? SWEET!

Here’s an idea:
Let’s just legalize these scams, and then tax them heavily. Everybody wins. (Well, okay, the losers still lose, but we can’t help them.)
