Met up with Dale (aka Oneied Cooky) for some lunch at the World Famous Lion’s Tap Family Restaurant in Eden Prairie (16180 Flying Cloud Drive — Just off of 212, West of the Airport). They are *very* well known for their “World Famous Hamburgers” and have won awards from Mpls. St Paul Magazine thirteen times (7 in a row since 1997!).
Their burgers are sometimes stacked *so* high that it’s nearly impossible to get them into your mouth without a fork and knife! They are usually crowded at lunch but their ample seating is rarely fully taken up. They have a cozy atomosphere in the main dining area keeps everyone toasty on cold winter days with a large fireplace and offers great views of the scenic National Wildlife Refuge right across the road.
