Out with Aaron, Matt, and Kim at Memory Lanes and the Flashback Cafe and Cocktail Lounge located at 2520 26th Ave S in Minneapolis.

This location was originally known as Stardust Lanes and was the opening shot for Let’s Bowl on Comedy Central. The show supposedly took place at Stardust but the actual interior shots were shot elsewhere (likely in Anoka, MN).

I had the Stuffed Mushrooms (roasted red peppers and boursin cheese in a balsamic demiglace) and split $7.50 pitchers of PBR (shout out to geeseven!) with Matt (Aaron had a couple of glasses but wimped out). After I won both games (for once!) I had to play a game of Ms. Pacman (as I was wearing my Ms. Pacman t-shirt). I didn’t do too poorly (about 128k) but it didn’t beat the cheaters that have the high-score due to sinking in multiple quarters to continue their games. Lamers.

Overall, this is a great place to eat, drink, and bowl. If you’re looking for something to do and bowling seems like a good idea, I’d check out Memory Lanes and the Flashback Cafe and Cocktail Lounge in Minneapolis!
