From the Star Tribune’s South Metro Police Blotter:
I bet this person gets their news from the web:
Suspicious vehicle. Police responded to a report that a driver was throwing things at houses in the neighborhood. Upon arrival the officer located the newspaper delivery man tossing newspapers.

Man, as if it couldn’t get any rougher for the newspaper industry! I’m glad I’m on the online side of it…

This made me laugh! One night Mr Marcos was up in the wee hours of the morning and noticed some suspicious activity in our cul-de-sac. A car pulled into our neighbors driveway then promptly pulled into our driveway for a moment and then left. When Mr Marcos told me about this I was quite concerned! Several hours later when I retrieved the Sunday paper from the front yard I realized that the driveway intruder was the StarTrib paper delivery.

Funny, I woke up one morning after I first subscribed to the paper and was concerned with what the a vehicle was doing. It sounded like it was driving up and down my neighbors driveways. When it came down mine I was wondering until I heard the sound of the newspaper hitting the porch. I sheepishly went back to sleep.

Hilarious! People aren’t used to seeing newspaper men anymore.

I wonder if the Taliban is aware of this technique.
