First we had an excellent lunch, thoughtfully provided by Dave, from Pastrami Jack’s. I got their excellent chicken salad on egg bread in a box lunch with a cookie and potato salad. Kim ordered their roast beef box lunch on pumpernickel with potato salad and Dave went with their “fake Reuben”, again, in a box lunch. Each of the boxes were supposed to come with a pickle (they didn’t include them for us) and Dave was assured his sandwich had Russian dressing, it didn’t. Whoops — not cool.
The food was excellent and minus their small goofups we still enjoyed them immensely.
Dave then proceeded to increase my weekend losing streak in Scrabble/Literati to 9 straight games. Man, I royally suck. He beat me last weekend too but due to Danger screwing up with the gallery I couldn’t upload those unfortunate photos — thanks you bastards — I’m still awaiting my apology and credit that the CSRs refused to give me because “there is no outage that we know of.”
The score this time was 564 to 870. Man, this Scrabble fueled weekend could not get much worse!

Now, now. It’s not that you’re on a losing streak, it’s that Dave is a GeEK about games. You are not the only person he has beaten at scrabble on a regular basis. Once upon a time (in addition to throwing paper clips at each other over a cube wall), we had a verbal game going - tormenting each other with words that contain more than one “G”. I don’t recall winning at that game either.
Tell you what: if you want a chance at winning, switch to Rumicube and keep a few tiles up your sleeve.

Yeah, he said that he’s going to bring over Rumicube to play some time. I don’t know if I care handle another game to lose to him at. At least I’ve found more caches than he has ;)
