I wasn’t feeling all that great on Wednesday morning when I went in to swim. Growing up swimming, this was a common occurance. Weird thing was, as much as I hated getting up early and jumping into a cold pool, the pain usually went away after I started swimming.
Well, this happened again. I was questioning whether or not I should even go and heavily considered crawling back into bed. Just as it was growing up, I was fine after a couple of strokes in the pool. Weird.
Well, today’s practice I was bound and determined to better my yardage over my past couple of mornings. I ended up succeeding and feeling pretty damn good about it. I’m not going to be going on my second Saturday morning in a row this weekend, going caching instead, so I wanted to make sure I was really pushing it… I still didn’t do as much as I would like (I’d really like to see 3000 yards in 45 minutes, but whatever).
