Kim, Chris, Laura, and I headed over to Sever’s Corn Maze on Saturday. Kim and I had wandered through the maze last year (see here) and had a pretty good time so we dragged Laura and Chris along this time.
The day was cold (35F) and fairly overcast. The sun was trying to peek through the clouds on numerous occasions but never fully won out :( The lines weren’t quite as long this year but the prices were still high ($8/person before coupon for $1 off).
The “Fall Festival” section seemed to have a little more quality things to eat and do this year as opposed to last year including some sort of haunted tent (we didn’t bother to go inside) and Panera bread serving hot soup, mmm.
The corn maze, this year, was egyptian themed and was nice to look at. We all took turns at leading the others through the maze with the girls teaming up together and still screwing up twice ;)
We made our way through the maze looking for each of the 26 signs. We located them all and enjoyed the view from the observation bridge. The only thing I wish they would do is put an observation bridge in the middle of the maze rather than at the exit.
After the maze we had some grilled corn, soup, and petted the farm animals before leaving.
A nice day to spend with great friends :)
