After finishing up the Minnesota Nice poll with a surprising result of the majority saying, “fuck off,” I figured I’d come up with something a bit less harsh. With the first flakes of snow falling from the sky yesterday and several people commenting on it yesterday, I figured it would be appropriate to see what people thought of the next 5 to 6 months of the year.
This poll will be open from today until next Monday, as has been the case for the last few polls, and I hope that in the mean time no more of the white shit falls on us. I could really use a few more weeks of Fall weather. How about you?

Well, I can agree that it is a little early to have snow, but for the most part I don’t mind snow. It can make the commute a bitch if snow is falling during that time of the day but other than that it doesn’t really effect me. I remember being a child and freezing my ass off at the bus stop, getting to school with wet socks in my moon boots, having to freeze at recess (morning AND lunch time), the rushing to get into snow gear for recess and getting out of the snow gear before the bell rang in the morning or after recess. Snow stressed me out WAY more as a kid than as an SUV driving, suburban living adult.

Mrs. M, I guess the real problem would only occur if Chili’s closed due to snow eh?

Well, that would be tragic!

I give it a yay, but I’m yaying the nice, twinkly kind of snow that falls on a still night, and not during rush hour. None of this sloppy wet sleety mess, and NO WIND! I think I got wind poisoning yesterday.

Ugh! That is all, just ugh!

I love snow. And i refuse to listen to people complain about snow if they live in Minnesota. I’ve been known to walk away from people whining to me about it. :)
I love snow. I hate the heat, but I tolerate the summers because I love the snow so much. *sigh*. Heart.
Driving home from Roch on Sunday was not super fun though.

Yay from me.
If you don’t like it, move.

As long as it isn’t overly cold, I’ll take all the snow that’s thrown at us. ANd I don’t even own a snowblower.

Who needs a snow blower as long as you have four wheel drive? We haven’t shoveled in 4+ years!

[...] up to last week’s Snow Poll, I figured I’d get into the winter season with a poll about flu shots. I was out geocaching [...]

Just moved here a few years ago from Maryland and could not believe it the first winter when I heard so many Minnesotans complain about the cold and snow. I mean this is Minnesota, right? No one is holding you prisoner here. You could try moving to Maryland where we did get a couple weeks of snow a year and a gorgeous long spring and fall. Or move to San Diego where it’s nice all year. But it seems people never move away from Minnesota as far as I can tell, they are born here and die here, but they sure do complain about it in between.
