The water issue is most certainly NOT resolved! We live in the SW corner of Burnsville and it’s as much like pool water as it ever was. It’s absolutely disgusting and I’m getting tired of lugging home bottled water as a consequence. Our Brita filter doesn’t even filter out all of the smell and taste.

The real question on the Burnsville water, is if Savage feels that the issue is now over? Did they turn the water back on from Burnsville?

I’ve heard that the lead engineer on the Burnsville water plant project is no longer with SEH. He’s working for another local firm now. That might be why Burnsville went to Black & Veatch for help on this.

Burnsville water smell and taste has improved considerably, but as you say now it mainly is an issue of chlorine. I think the worst period was Sept-Nov 15. My concern is summer 2010 when the algae returns to the Kraemer-Kautz quarry.

As a Packer fan, I can get behind revxp’s suspicions!

As a Burnsville resident, I don’t know what to think about our water situation. I thought it was getting better, then seemed to notice it again. It doesn’t seem as strong as it was before, but I’ve refrained from posting an “all clear” on my blog because, well, it doesn’t taste like it’s all clear. If it is, then it’s garbage.
