thanks lefty for the advice it is correct i feel though that it is too late for me to change. off topic here- imho ling ling gyoza is really good. from Target or you can get a big bag form Costco,. Fry it in Sesame oil/low heat. Have to re flash my cell now- current ROM eating battery. ttyl Lefty

Based on the positive reviews, we tried out Spice in Lakeville this evening – takeout. It was inedible, and $35 for 3 dishes went promptly into the garbage. :(

We ordered:
G5: Gaeng Kung Supparos (red curry, shrimp and pineapple) at a “hot” – no heat, too sweet, and came with chicken instead of shrimp (at the price of shrimp). Almost tasted like they forgot the fish sauce in the curry – no acid or bite at all.

F2: Holy Basil Fried Rice at a “medium” – so oily it was almost unpalatable and no taste or spice.

E8: Tamarind Chicken (sweet tamarind sauce over crispy chicken, carrots, onions and scallions) at a “hot” – couldn’t even taste it. A smell and sample of the tamarind sauce tasted strongly of a bland lemongrass, and the chicken was so heavily battered I would have gotten more meat at KFC of all places.

EPIC FAIL!

Ate there tonight with hubby and daughter. We all give it thumbs up! Still a little slow, but very forgivable with having just opened. The food was excellent. Happy to see sauvignon blanc on the menu (and affordably priced). Fresh Spring rolls, red curry pork, tamarind shrimp and pad brocolli chicken. For my taste the red curry and pad dishes were a tad sweet, but I was in the minority with that opinion. Still enjoyed the food very much! Will be back for sure. Looking forward to trying some other menu items.
