After eating at Kramarczuk’s Ukrainian Deli, Dave suggested we head over to check out Surdyk’s Cheese Shop nearby… Wow! What an absolutely incredible selection of cheeses, desserts, and various pantry goods. I perused the cheeses for 10 minutes or more trying to decide on a single one. Always on the look out for some good bleu or goat cheese I was in for the choice of a lifetime here. I ended up giving up on the cheese due to sheer numbers! I will be back.

While Dave chose some pastas to bring back to his home in Mississippi and to his parents’ place in NY, I began checking out the desserts. The blueberry cheesecake and tiramisu both looked quite tempting but the tiramisu won out. I asked Kim at least three times if she was sure she didn’t want a piece… She didn’t. She missed out. The tiramisu was quite possibly the *best* I have ever eaten.

I didn’t even bother to venture into the wine store knowing that I would end up bringing home a nice bottle.
