Suspicious? Really? You’re Kidding Me!

Wow, this is one quick thinking bank teller, I would have let this slide for sure:

Theft: A man reported Sept. 24 that someone stole a check out of a mailbox at his business in the 1400 block of Concord Street North. He wrote the $60 check to Xcel Energy and placed it in the mailbox to be mailed. The Inver Grove Heights Police Department later called him to say a woman was arrested after trying to cash his check at a bank. She had reportedly crossed off “Xcel Energy” and written her name on the check, which made a bank teller suspicious.
