Well, the first weekend of doing absolutely nothing because of my caching hiatus was a big success!
Friday night I went over and picked up a “new” (used) hiptop from one of Kevin’s friends. Mine has been really bad lately and due to the fact that it is obvious that it’s been dropped numerous times, T-mobile would have charged me $75 for a refurbished replacement. Kevin’s friend had a barely used hiptop, with red bumpers, for $50. I jumped on that opportunity.
After that we stopped off at Benchwarmer Bob’s Sports Cafe in Burnsville for dinner. We came in a little later than the “dinner crowd” and we ended up ordering and being served in *VERY* short-order. I had their two piece fried chicken meal and Kim got a buffalo chicken sandwich. We skated under $20 with tip! Awesome!
After dinner we rented “Wedding Crashers” and got a few laughs. It certainly was not as funny as the hype wanted me to believe but it was humerous. Kim wanted to watch the extras after the movie was over but I wanted to go straight to bed. We never did end up watching them but it’s still in the house thanks to Blockbuster’s “no late fees”. Bleh.
This weekend DirecTV was having a three day “free preview weekend” for Starz. Thirteen channels of shit, honest to goodness, shit. Six Degrees of Seperation with Will Smith and the Aviator were the highlights. I don’t understand the ending of either. Oh well.
With all the excitement of Starz and the refridgerator being fairly well stocked I didn’t leave the house for nearly 48 hours! I did make Kim run out to get some Sprite for lunch one day though ;) Soon after that I finally ventured out to pick up some new clothes at Old Navy (I have ruined numerous pairs of jeans and other pants while caching and needed to replace some stuff). Two shirts and a pair of jeans for $21. Woot.
After that, I was notified that one of my caches Yeti, Set, Go located in Spring Lake Park Reserve in Hastings might be missing. I made the 15 mile drive out there, walked the .37 miles to the cache, and found that the recent visitors had been RIGHT ON TOP of the cache but couldn’t find it. In addition, they stripped and nearly destroyed every geobeacon within a 300 foot radius of ground-zero. Nice. I bet I know the person that they learned that inappropriate behavior from…
Last night I made some gorgeous marinated pork chops along with some veggies and pasta in a cream sauce and a baked sweet potato. We drank some wine (shiraz) and watched TV.
Overall, a fairly relaxing and wasted weekend. I just wish that the noise from the planes overhead was a little less!

I had almost exactly the same opinion of Wedding Crashers, that it was funny but not as funny as everyone was claiming that it was.

I fully planned on linking to your review in my post but I forgot about it. Too much crap in one post I guess ;)
