WeekNIGHT Caching and Joe Senser’s Sports Bar and Grill: Roseville, MN

Last night was the usual WeekNIGHT Caching get-together. Man, how this activity has exploded over time! I remember when it used to be the same three or four people every time. Now it’s the same 10 to 15 (18+ last night)! Absolutely incredible feeling to know that you are part of something that brings so many people closer together and gives everyone something to do on a normally boring Wednesday night :)

Kimmy came home a little late from work and I was beginning to worry that I wouldn’t make it on time to the event. A lot of folks had plans to head to the area early to clear out some more of the new Posen caches that were placed. There were originally three on the list (picked by GeoPierce) and I was busying myself loading them into the GPSr as I was driving up 35E.

When I arrived I saw the mass of cachers piled in the parking lot. I turn around to see the line of cars with their headlights cutting through the night sky and annoying the neighbors surrounding the park ;)

At 7:30:25, TheGilby3 announced that it was time to move out! The entire pack of us headed up the hill towards Shell Fish. After a wrong turn that would have made the trek uglier than it already was, we were back on track and heading for the cache. drat19 actually decided to descend the hill this time, good for you buddy ;), and was (as usual) the last finder of this clever hide.

After four more caches, we ascended another hill to the parking lot and head off for Joe Senser’s in Bloomington. After drinks, jokes, and chat, we all broke off and headed home. It was great to meet all the newcomers (nature_nerd, Little Hammer, CamoCacher, Mrs. Sleaze, and Grey Wolf) and also to see all the regulars!
