I was surfing around and came across this review of Divinci’s Pizza in Lakeville, MN.
From Steve Eck’s Blog on 3/11/2005 (linked above):
Which brings up one of the two issues I had with the place, the service was terrible. I’m not sure if they were short-staffed or what, but everyone around us was having the same problems trying to get their waitresses to come back, bring the bill, bring out the right food, bring back the credit card, whatever. Divinci’s was fairly expensive, for pizza. It was comparable to Green Mill, which makes it more expensive than what I am willing to pay for pizza on a regular basis.
I commented here that:
It’s really sad that while having quite a bit of time between your review and my review of Divinci’s Pizza, they haven’t improved one single bit. You would think that in a bit over three months they would be able to turn themselves around.
It’s truly amazing that a business can believe it will survive in the restaurant world by providing poor customer service. The staff admitted to us that they had people walking out, that the owner didn’t know what he was doing, and with the additional proof in the blog linked to above, it’s truly a wonder why the owner hasn’t done more in his power to turn his restaurant around!
