Well, I was talking with Chuck today and he told me to look at some new cache. While checking that out, I noticed a new cache that had a peculiar name: ‹(•¿•)› I clicked on the cache and noticed that it was in Lakeville’s Oak Shores Park, a location that I pass numerous times per day usually to and from work.
Knowing the park I figured I could be in and out in 10 minutes or under. Right as I approach ground zero I notice someone coming towards me down the trail. I instinctively duck down before realizing that it’s Paklid. I asked him if he had found it, of course he had (he’s a FTF hound), and then he came by to tease me while I stumbled around looking for it. Luckily I found it quickly, much to his disappointment, and didn’t endure too much of his ribbing ;)
As we were leaving we ran into BigEddie who was on his way up the path to find the cache. I normally don’t chase down the new caches but being that this one was so close to home and right next to the gas station that I was utilizing anyway, I figured why not.
Why not? Well, normally that’s what I would have said w/o thought, but this time it would mean a broken promise! Luckily Kim hadn’t even left work yet and I had already bagged the cache and was on my way home.
