Carbone’s Pizza: Lakeville, MN

After caching with Aaron and Chuck, we met up with Kimmy at Carbone’s Pizza in Lakeville, MN where we have eaten before numerous times.

Kimmy ordered a reuben and Aaron, Chuck, and I split a large deep-dish pizza. Now, normally when we go to Carbone’s, I get their Penne Pasta Bake with meatballs because I just don’t care for the way their cut their pizza into little squares (and even when we ask, they don’t always remember to cut it like it’s supposed to be cut). Anyway, this time I saw the deep-dish and was in the major mood for it. It came out and looked absolutely gorgeous (for a pizza). It was cut the right way and it was really cheesy and good. Very impressive!

I was busy drinking huge Newcastles and taking photos while Kimmy, Aaron, and Chuck owned me.

Overall, it was very good (as always) and comes highly recommended by me!

Carbone’s Pizza: Lakeville, MN

Out with Aaron and Kimmy at Carbone’s Pizza in Lakeville! Aaron had picked us up at the airport so we owed him at least lunch, right? Right!

I had their Prime Rib sandwich that comes with melted mozzerella mmm. Kimmy had a buffalo wrap that fell apart on her and Aaron had a mini pizza. We all shared their famous (and huge) cheesy bread.

Carbone’s Pizza: Lakeville, MN

Out with Kimmy to our local favorite, Carbone’s in Lakeville, MN. One of their newer restaurants this one lacks the “hole-in-the-wall” atomosphere that their other locations possess but adds several HDTV monitors, multiple Golden Tee Machines along with various other games, and some excellent eats.

We do routinely order their pizza as they are less than a mile away and usually deliver quickly. Obviously we wouldn’t be ordering Divinci’s Pizza. Tonight, because of the game and Kim wanting to get out of the house, we headed up the street to take a seat inside.

Tonight Kim ordered her usual, the Buffalo Chicken Salad and I had their Lasanga along with some Newcastle on tap.

Their portions are huge and you usually leave stuffed along with a doggy bag. I’m not normally a meat lasanga but I must say this one was tasty. I’m also a HUGE fan of their Baked Penne Pasta. Their garlic cheese bread is an excellent and worthwhile additon to any of their pasta dishes.

Even though the place was packed for the Vikings pre-season game vs the KC Chiefs, the service was fast and excellent. I was more than impressed and was expecting extra waits on everything.

So, if you’re looking for pizza in Lakeville, MN I highly suggest Carbone’s. Nothing else nearby compares.
