Last year, Chris and Laura moved here from California to pursue the Minnesota dream. Poor bastards showed up here in one of the coldest Novembers and one of the shittiest winters in my 4 years in Minnesota.
Laura works too hard and Chris is a writer. He has let me read some of his stuff and I have enjoyed it immensely. Last week he told me that he would soon appear online in the SmokeLong Quarterly. His published work, A Bear Story was filled with the same excellent imagery and fun and thought provoking endings that his stories leave me with.
