After the guests left around midnight, we cleaned up a bit, and started to open presents. We usually do that on Christmas Eve but this year it had to wait till Christmas morning ;)
I ended up with a new Guinness hat that rocks, some mounted and matted baseball card reproductions that will fit nicely in my office at home, an XMODS RC car kit that I had a blast putting together and look forward to driving Buddy crazy with, as well as my standard chocolate covered pretzels. My father also picked me up a bottle of 18 year old Glenfiddich scotch which was VERY tasty.
Kimmy ended up with some cool stuff that included Star Wars episode III on DVD. Lucky girl :)
I must admit that with all the lights and decorations up in the sun room, it looks VERY nice on Christmas. My parents do a great job with all their decorations. If only we had the same storage space they do :) I really shouldn’t give Kim any ideas!
During the day, my father, Kim, and I headed out to Nicholson, PA to check out some caches near the Tunkhannock Viaduct. We found one and DNFd the other (which was promptly found two days later by someone else, bleh I suck). We had some TBs to drop off and we picked up another. Kim was wearing it around her neck and there are plenty of photos of that laying around on the digital camera — I’ll have to get those up soon.
Christmas dinner was the new prime rib roast, mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots, and some other stuff. We were joined by Mrs. Murray, my club coach from all those years ago. It was nice seeing her again.
See all the pictures from today here and here.

Well, Bill makes it seem that “he” is the world renouned scrabble operative…….however truth be known we ( his rents ) have consistantly kicked his ass in double scrabble since God said “let there be light”!!! We did enjoy the holiday visit from Kim and Bill enourmously. He neds to schedule a summer visit so I can properly kick his ass in shotguning or 22 ARA benchrest and or jet skiing.
