Well, due to numerous factors including busy holiday things to do, cleaning the house, the dog, dinner with Aaron at the Copper Bleu in Lakeville, etc, we decided to open some of our presents yesterday. I had wrapped all mine up one night early this week and they have been eating at the Mrs. since.
Anyway, I got home from WeekNIGHT Caching w/the boys and finally broke down and let Kim tear into her gifts. Of course I fooled her with a lot of oversized boxes for things like romance novels but she loves me anyway ;) I learned it from my parents, what can I say? Kim was no better though… She wrapped one of my Family Guy DVD sets with another box inside to “throw me off”. Brat ;)
I ended up with Family Guy DVD sets II and III, some raspberry chocolate candy bars and some interesting chocolate covered strawberries that I have yet to try. They sound good! I bought Kim three of the latest romance novels from her favorite authors to add to her huge collection as well as some vintage soccer jackets (recreations/imitations) that she likes from Target.
We both have other gifts to add but we figured they could wait till today. I know what mine is (proper scotch glasses) but she doesn’t know what her’s are yet ;) ;)
Merry Christmas everyone!

And, how was Copper Bleu?

We’re going tonight at around 7pm. I called this morning when they opened to setup a reservation but they are only opening one reservation per 15 minutes and thus they’re booked for tonight already. The woman said that we “will have absolutely no trouble getting a table at 7 tonight.”
We’ll see ;)
