Well, as promised, I finally got a ton of photos uploaded. I think there were something like 116 photos for me to go through. It was a royal pain in the ass and it took about two hours even w/all my scripts that automate this shit but I got it done.
It was seriously as bad as not doing laundry for three weeks.

Swimming in Lake Superior is COLD! It is hard to understand just how cold it feels, until you’ve done it. Even at the end of summer, the water is only a few degrees warmer.

I really wanted to place a cache in that grain hopper but I was told today (by a Duluth cacher) that he has had his eye on that location. I will wait for him and make another swim out there.
I think that the cold was worsened because the rocks were *so* hot and the water was so cold. My poor feet went into shock. The rest of me was really ok but that was probably because I have quite a bit of insulation ;)
I would not have done that if I hadn’t been swimming for several months. The pool at Macalester College is *not* nearly that cold ;)
