A little less than 13 months ago, Kim and I purchased a brand new 2005 Mazda3 Hatchback to replace the ailing Piece of Shit 2002 Saturn SL1 that I purchased before moving to MN.
The first four months of the year I still worked in Eden Prairie making my daily commute about 24.2 miles. Now that I work in White Bear Lake, my daily commute is about 2.5x as much at 66.2 miles daily.
As you can see, we are now nearly at 27,300 miles and counting. I can only imagine what it will be with yet another additional four months of my full commute added in.
Boy am I ever glad that I extended the warranty out to 100k with Mazda. I’m about to run down the manufacturer’s warranty!

Man, if you put those miles on a bike, you’d be Lance frickin’ Armstrong.
