Sorry you couldn't stay for the whole thing. It was a REALLY fun night. That "fairly terrible artist" was just running through the same verse over and over for about 2 minutes because he was actually trying to get the sound system set up, then the music started about 10-15 minutes after that. From all accounts ALL of the guest artist were simply incredible, and the turn out was amazing. It seemed that every time someone had to leave that more people showed up. It really was a great night, and it last until about 30-45 after their actual closing time. Nobody seemed to care that the last artist didn't even start until after closing. La Luz is looking to have live music at their venue, once it opens, and I saw who I assume to be the owner there, with a t-shirt on, moving through the crowd. I hope their acoustics are better but being that it's the same building, I doubt it. Sank, as noted in the original post, they are looking to do it the first and third Monday of each month.
