This weekend I was at the Xcel twice, Saturday night for the Minnesota RollerGirls Irish Eyes Are Shining bout with the Atomic Bombshells vs the Dagger Dolls and Garda Belts vs the Rockits. Sunday afternoon Josh and I headed over to the Xcel Center for the Wild vs the San Jose Sharks. Not a bad weekend!

This video is from tonight’s Minnesota Wild game vs the San Jose Sharks. With 28.8 seconds left, the Wild scores a goal to tie up the game 2-2. They went on to lose in sudden death OT:

RollerGirls won for me. Even though the last two bouts have been relatively tame, they did have some nice take downs and last minute fights (including a bench clearing pile!)
The Wild, on the other hand, played a game w/almost no penalties, not a single fight, and was an absolute bore until the final few seconds of the game. That, and they fucking lost in OT.
