Mitch Omer, owner of Hell’s Kitchen in Minneapolis really doesn’t care for local food reviewing phenom Andrew Zimmern. In this article that showed up on City Pages, it mentions that Omer blasted Zimmern in The Rake when he said (more or less) that Zimmern “bludgeons local eateries with a blunt instrument: his pen” while “sucking the gastronomic dick” of “stupid fucking elitist” establishments.
All I can say is I hope he doesn’t start reading my site! I already get enough hate mail, I certainly don’t need it to show up on The Rake and City Pages too :)

Thanks to Aaron for reminding me about the backgrond on the City Pages article here.
At first I thought Mitch was just mostly kidding but it really seems like he takes himself a lot more seriously than he should :)
