In the past three years, in addition to our usual traveling, geocaching has taken me to many states around the country. It’s absolutely amazing to me that I have visited just under half the country since 12/2003!
Kim and I made a list of where we want to travel and we have been slowly but surely knocking the places of the list.
We just got back from Las Vegas last night and made sure that when we went to visit the Hoover Dam that we drove 20 miles into Arizona so that I could light that state up with a geocache.
I really would like to hit at least 49 of the 50 states in the next few years and we’re planning vacations around that goal. The next one might be to the NE so that we could road trip down the coast from Maine and hit all the “Rachel Ray hotspots” as well as find me some caches.

I should have the pictures from the Vegas trip up tonight. In the mean time, check out the mobile photos from the trip here, here, here, and here (mobile).

Rachel Ray is so damned perky! I noticed you don’t have Michigan lit up. A visit to Ohio with a side trip to MI will solve that. ;)

Well, that map is for states I’ve found caches in. In order to find a cache in MI I’d have to take a 30+ mile detour off of I-80. I was planning on doing that when we went back to Ohio in October but I forgot to load maps into the GPS so we couldn’t autoroute there :(
That and I was hungover and made Kim drive ;-)
