Once there was a City whose leadership turned down a private developer’s offer to build a PAC and hotel complex in exchange for giving the developer $2.1 million in tax breaks and free land. Instead the City decided to take the land off the tax rolls, and spend $20 million to build just a PAC on its own. ….Here’s your sign.
