Out with Kim tonight for a meeting at Richfield Flowers and Events to discuss the setup for our wedding.
Kim told me that she was handling everything and that she had pictures of her dress that she didn’t want me seeing, so I spent my time making Greg nervous by wandering around the store taking photos.
For the most part the store was setup like some nine year old girl’s bedroom with a lot of drapery hanging down from the ceiling and a bunch of really cheesy novelties like smiley mugs, oversized stuffed gorillas, and random barn animals. They did have a few nice flowers on display but this would not be my first choice for flower buying.
See all the pictures from today here.

I’m sorta thinking you should stay on the other side of the river, since you are SO negative about Richfield.
We’ve been on both sides, we like this side better, not so snobby.

In this post I’m negative about this particular floral shop but, now that you mention it, Richfield does pretty much suck. Thanks for reminding me why I should stay south of the river — I avoid dealing with fucking douchebags like you.

I can’t confirm/deny that you are a real-live fucking douchebag, and I really don’t care about the state of flower shops in 2005 (the date of Bill’s post), but I was trying to help someone find a good breakfast in Richfield the other day. I came up with……
Then I thought I’d at least give them a good lunch spot and came up with…….
Just to throw them a bone, I mentioned Aribel’s for supper. I was going to offer other supper recommendations in Richfield in case they don’t like Guyanan cuisine….I came up with………
Feel free to help me out on that Mary, or enlighten me on just what Richfield has to offer that’s great. Or good. Or even one bit unique.
I suspect the best thing about Richfield is that it’s so easy to get out of there and into a neighboring community that actually has redeeming qualities. Well…unless you love the smell of jet exhause in the morning.

MSPD, I was also mostly disturbed by her comment on a post from 2005 and the fact that she later decided to tell me that she was a board member for the Wood Lake Nature Center — as if that should change my opinion of her or her pointless posts.
