Well, after having Thursday off from swimming, I was back at it again — this time with Kim — on Saturday morning. The pool was a bit more crowded but I was still able to get my 3000 in.

Kim had a slightly different set with about 2300 yards. She said that she didn’t feel nearly as good in the water this time as she did the weekend before but I was exactly the opposite. I was in my better spirits and I wasn’t quite as sore (either immediately after or the next morning).
I have been experiencing some familiar shoulder pain that occured on and off during my entire swimming career, but I am going to attribute this to fat and damp/cold spring weather rather than overworked arms ;)
I’ll be in the pool on Tuesday and have come up with a slightly modified set from what was available on the USMS Forums that I linked to last time. We’ll see if I can push it up another 200 yards and still finish it in under an hour.
