After dinner at Chef Justin’s Park Plaza Gardens in Winter Park, FL we headed back to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to get some more rides in and see the fireworks.
My parents and I have been to the Magic Kingdom numerous times before but we never went in the evening (my first trip I was 8 and I never made it that late and the subsequent trips were during YMCA Swimming Nationals and finals were at night — no chance for evening visits then either).
We got to the park just as the fireworks were starting. We stood in the center of Main St USA and watched the fireworks while my father stood off to the side visibly annoyed ;)
After that we headed over to Frontierland and I got a Dole Whip, went up into Swiss Family Robinson’s treehouse with Kim (which was difficult in the dark), and then spent most of our time at Thunder Mountain in line.
After that we bought a pint glass for a friend of my father’s and then left for the evening. We have another busy day ahead of us tomorrow at Epcot, woot.
See all the pictures from tonight here (mobile).
