Thanks for my daily dose of humor.

If I were offered free delivery by the salesperson, and then found out it would cost $40 when I went to pay, I think I would give them one chance to fix the problem and then I'd walk out the door. There are many appliance stores in this world, so why have tolerance for one that doesn't do what they say?

Why does this guy continue to get top billing on the web page? One bad experience by a huffy customer and Tony's is blackballed for all time? I never heard of Tony's before two days ago but "Bill's" nasty comments actually made me think there must be more to the story than what he said so I called Tony's for myself. I wanted a particular washer and all the big box stores were out of them. I didn't want to pay an "independant's" higher price but Rene offered to match the big box's price so I went in. I had great service on the phone and in the store; Very knowledgeable sales and receptionist staff and I didn't have to put money down before delivery. The delivery guys came out right on time and were good natured and helpful. Get this - I was having trouble with my dryer not being connected correctly to the wall and spewing dryer lint all over my laundry room. They fixed that for FREE! It was a fairly easy fix but still they knew more than my husband or me and they sure didn't have to take the time to help us fix the dryer when they were coming to install a washer. That really got my attention. These guys are great. And by the way the washer is exactly what I wanted and nicely installed. Tony and crew - you will be seeing more of us when we need other appliances (hopefully not too soon). -Eileen and Jim Horan

They incorrectly offered to give me something and then took it away and weren't about to mention the fact to me. If I hadn't been paying close attention, I wouldn't have known that they charged me for delivery/disposal.

I gave them a chance and they failed. I cannot understand how you can defend them for fucking up. Either you didn't comprehend what I wrote or you are too emotionally involved in the subject matter to look at it objectively.

We have been using Tony's since 1980. To see this SLAM on the internet really upsets me. Maybe you woke up on the wrong side of the bed that day..... the customer service rep offered help to you. You refused. You were rude, and you didn't even give them a chance. Can you imagine what sales people have to put up with everyday?
Tony's is the best appliance repair in the business!!

I'm glad that you had a positive experience at Tony's Appliance Incorporated in Burnsville, MN. We did not. If you had been mislead about your purchase and then treated with such indifference, you might feel differently.

Wow,

Might you guys have better things to do than spend time with the web telling everyone how 'bad' your experience was with Tony's? I have found them to be fair and their customer service after the sale is exceptional. Based on your hard work on this slam on Tony's; I'd believe you have this problem with just about anyone you buy from. Cars, Real Estate, Furniture, etc. Companies deserve to earn a living much like YOU GUYS DO at whatever your vocations are..

Most Sincerely,
Sean Hudak

A followup to the dryer we bought from Warner's Stellian... It was delivered, on time, on Saturday. They did all the hook up, including reworking the exhaust duct because the old one didn't match up. I wasn't at home during the delivery but Kim said that the delivery/hook-up men were extremely nice and helpful.

Sure beats the response we got from many of the other stores we dealt with, "sorry, these men are just delivery men -- they are not electricians".

If you're looking for an appliance in the Apple Valley area, I really suggest checking out Warner's Stellian. They might be a couple bucks more for whatever you purchase (in our case they weren't!) but you won't be disappointed.

We ended up getting a dryer for $249.99 + $25 for the electric cord and a $30 delivery fee from Warner's Stellian. When we had visited this located a couple months ago their prices were way out of line from everyone else around the area.

This time we found a Estate (Whirlpool) 5.9 cubic foot dryer for the right price and without any bullshit.
