The times I've gone I've been bored within the first hour and then annoyed with the long lines. I'm not that much of a big roller coaster fan but my fondest memories are from Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, FL as a kid. We went on a day where there were no crowds and you could get on the roller coaster as soon as you got off of it. I rode two of their roller coasters over and over again about 10 times, had a funnel cake, went on the Tilt-a-Whirl and proceeded to throw up while running to the bathroom. I don't remember any other time where I had as much fun at an amusement park. IMHO, Valleyfair gets away with their price to rides ratio because they don’t have any competition up here.
