WeekNIGHT Caching and Applebee’s Neighborhood Bar and Grill: Cottage Grove, MN

Out w/the WeekNIGHT Caching crew last night in Cottage Grove. I picked the two caches for last night based on the newest caches published that week and also the closer proximity to where I now work. I didn’t attend last week’s outing because they put it down in Shakopee. I really wanted to do the two caches that Oneied Cooky chose as I love that area, but it was just too far to drive 45 miles to the caching and then another 22 miles home afterward :(

Anyway, Cottage Grove isn’t exactly a hotbed of exciting night life spots, so I chose one of the only places around that I knew would have beer. Applebee’s. Bleh. They really need to get Guinness on tap there!

Over all a great night with some gorgeous sky sights with the clouds soaring out. Pretty cool. Everyone else in the group (IIRC) picked up ticks except me! I guess they felt bad for me because I was in my work clothes (forgot the jeans and hiking boots at home) or I just got lucky ;)
