After work I headed out with GeoPierce, Moe the Sleaze, and Oneied Cooky for some “pre-WeekNIGHT Caching”. We hit 9 or so caches around the SW metro and met up with the rest of the group for the caches that TheGilby3 had planned for us.
After a great multi by dachebo, some other hides provided by Gilby, and a lot of walking we were off to Buffalo Wild Wings (BW3) in Chanhassen, MN. We had met up there before for WeekNIGHT Caching (back on 1/5/06) when the Bowl Games were on. It was absolutely packed that night but tonight it was wide open. The service was decent but I was *not* pleased that BW3 has replaced some of their old-time favorite sauces with new crappy ones.
BRING BACK THE SMOKEY SOUTHWEST YOU MORONS!
Anyway, with the snow starting to come down and reports that we would have 8+ inches by morning I gathered the troops and drove them back to the meeting place and then headed home.
Once I got home I found that Kim had gone through the house and assembled all the loose change we had laying around. She wanted to go and use one of the (pay) counters that they have at the banks (we don’t have a TCF account anymore where they let you use it free) but I decided to manually sort and count all the change myself. She was busy working on work stuff so what else did I have to do?
After much time spent sorting, stacking, and counting we had quite a bit of money. Nice! The distribution went like this:
$1.00 in Sacagawea dollars
$5.00 in quarters
$6.50 in nickels
$11.80 in pennies
$20.00 in dimes
We had 23 cents in Canadian pennies and dimes as well as three Wheat Pennies that I kept off to the side. Time to start filling up the jar again for the next round!
